Примечание
Некоторые выключатели могут быть втычными только со стороны питания, зажимы со стороны нагрузки обычно пригодны для присоединения проводников.

Выключатель с одним или несколькими штыревыми выводами, использующийся с соответствующим устройством для штепсельного соединения.

Автоматический выключатель со штыревыми выводами, предназначенными для выполнения разъемного соединения с основанием автоматического выключателя, к выводам которого подключаются проводники внешних электрических цепей.
Такие аппараты вставляются и извлекаются без обесточивания соответствующей цепи. Присоединение и отсоединение аппарата возможно только в том случае, если аппарат разомкнут.
В противном случае при отсоединении происходит автоматическое размыкание контактов аппарата.
В простых ситуациях съемные аппараты можно использовать для реализации функции разъединения.
Обычно втычные аппараты применяют в тех случаях, когда необходимо обеспечить легкую замену аппаратов, что делает их обслуживание очень удобным.
Аппараты съемного исполнения иногда обозначаются буквой D (disconnectable – отсоединяемое исполнение).EN
